When Arkadi and Elinor fell in love back in 2011, they had no idea they would one day build a business around their shared passion for cooking and hospitality. More than a decade later, they’re grateful for the chance to bring joy through food to countless homes and unforgettable gatherings.

Elinor Nahmani

Co-Founder & Operations Manager

Elinor’s culinary journey began early, inspired by her father, a professional chef, and her mother, an incredible cook and gracious host. After graduating from UC Berkeley, Elinor honed her organizational and strategic skills as a sales representative in the fast-paced tech world. While she once imagined a different path than her father, she discovered that helping her partner execute flawless catering events was far more fulfilling than tech sales. She officially joined Arkadi to co-found Olive Catering, where she now expertly directs all operations, growth, and sales

Arkadi Kluger

Co Founder & Executive Chef

Throughout years spent mastering various restaurant and catering roles, Arkadi sharpened his culinary vision. In 2014, he embarked on a life-changing adventure as a competitor on the Food Network’s 'The Great Food Truck Race.' His team’s truck, 'Middle Feast,' ultimately won the championship in Season Five. This victory enabled him to launch his first food truck in Los Angeles, which he operated successfully before moving to the Bay Area to build his signature catering business, Olive.

After a highly successful ten years serving the Bay Area, Arkadi decided to relocate Olive to sunny San Diego. He brings with him the esteemed San Francisco philosophy of farm-to-table dining, championing a strictly ingredient-first mentality that elevates every event.
