The Secret Shawarma Recipe

Ingredients

2 lbs. boneless and skinless chicken thigh

1/2 medium onion Julienned

24-30 gr shawarma spice mix

Cooking olive oil

Preparation
  1. Season the boneless, skinless chicken thighs with the shawarma spice mix at least 3 hours before grilling.

  2. In a pan, sauté the julienned onions till golden brown and caramelized. Should taste sweet.

  3. Grilled the marinated chicken. Give it a nice sear and then cook thoroughly.

  4. Thinly slice the grilled chicken and mix with the caramelized onions.

  5. Serve with pita, hummus, rice and a fresh salad and enjoy!
